Calling all BBQ lovers and foodies: there’s another exciting event to look forward to in Kissimmee this March in addition to the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo (RNCFR). Osceola County is thrilled to welcome the Florida Heritage BBQ Classic March 26-28, 2015. This Florida championship event will take place at Osceola Heritage Park, side-by-side with all the action and excitement of live rodeo action.

The festivities kick off on Thursday, March 26, with the VIP Big Pig Bash where attendees will enjoy unlimited BBQ prepared by the country’s best chefs, live music by Hayfire and an open bar. For information on buying tickets for the Florida Heritage BBQ Classic VIP Big Pig Bash, call (321) 697-3323.

The main event – none other than the BBQ competition itself, of course – will take place on Friday, March 27 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Saturday, March 28 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. In addition, Friday night will be Central Florida’s Biggest Happy Hour and Dance Party with DJ Eric Lagi and Saturday will have live music all day and night by the Neon Truckers, Bird Dog Bobby and The Greg Warren Band. Backyard smokers to well known, award-winning talents – will hand grill and smoke up mouth-watering beef, pork, brisket, gator and other exotic treats hoping to win a piece of the largest purse in Florida…$25,000! Both competition days are free and open to the public. Have a BBQ team? Click here to register to compete in the Florida Heritage BBQ Classic.

Don’t forget to grab tickets to catch all the live rodeo action at the RNCFR too! The championship event will be held at the Silver Spurs Arena March 25-28, 2015 and is sure to please seasoned rodeo fans and newcomers alike. The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA)-sanctioned rodeo will feature eight heart-pounding events over four action-packed days with contestants competing for more than $1 million in cash and prizes. Tickets range in price from $15 to $35 and are available for purchase by calling (800) 745-3000 or visiting RNCFR.com.
