What comes to your mind when you think of Montana Silversmiths?

When you ask what comes to mind when I hear Montana Silversmiths, I think of our craftsmanship unmatched anywhere in the world. Montana Silversmiths is always working on staying ahead of the new trends, while keeping our roots with our traditional Montana Silversmiths look. With over 40 years in business, Montana Silversmiths is the largest suppliers of western jewelry, watches and legendary buckles.

How did you get involved with Montana Silversmiths?

Unmatched craftsmanship

Growing up on a small ranch in Eastern Colorado I was introduced to the western heritage at a very young age. I was always aware of the core western brands that hung proud on arenas all over the country. It wasn’t until I was older that I realized that I could have a career working for one. I graduated from Colorado Mesa University with a degree in marketing. It was then my wife Kayla and I moved to Rapid City, South Dakota where I now I’m a territory manager.

What is your Favorite Part of working for Montana Silversmiths?

Miss Rodeo America Buckle

My favorite part is working for a company that hand makes everyone cowboy’s and cowgirls’ dream. It doesn’t matter if you grew up on the West Coast, East Coast, or in the Midwest you dream of winning a Montana Silversmiths buckle. It never gets old seeing that champion’s smile in the arena after receiving their Montana Silversmiths buckle. The hard work, long travel, time away, and money spent all becomes worth it holding that buckle. You can see how proud they are just by the smile. That is what makes me proud to work for such a staple in the western industry.

What effect do you believe Miss Rodeo America has on the Montana Silversmiths partnership?

I think it goes without saying what Miss Rodeo America means to rodeo and the western industry. For over 60 years now little girls have had a true rule model to look up to. In a day in age where you have to look far and wide to find someone for kids to look up to Miss Rodeo America stands tall. It doesn’t matter if it is your first rodeo or you have qualified for your 7th NFR. When you see that flag going around an arena it makes you proud to be an American. For Montana to team up with Miss Rodeo America means that the promotion of rodeo is in good hands for years to come.
