Hot on the heels of the commendable performance of #TeamWrangler at THE AMERICAN, comes another big win for the top competitors at a ProRodeo event that’s also known for its rich purse and payout – the 2014 The RodeoHouston Super Shootout.

The RodeoHouston Super Shootout in summary is a rodeo event featuring champions versus champions as it consists of winning contestants from eight of the top rodeos in the U.S. and Canada. And although the competition was tough – four Team Wrangler members clinched titles.

First up is Kaycee Feild who had a fantastic 2014 RodeoHouston. Not only did he win the 2014 RodeoHouston Super Shootout Bareback Riding Champion title but he also won the 2014 BP Super Series Bareback Riding Champion title. What will the cowboy do with the $75K he won in two days? At a post-event news conference he said, “I have some stuff I can spend it on, and share the wealth with my family.”

An unlikely win came from Trevor Knowles. Not because of his skill but because he wasn’t planning on competing in the RodeoHouston Super Shootout as he did not think bulldogging was included in the event. Upon hearing that it was, Knowles threw his hat into the ring and came out as the event’s first steer wrestling champion.

Wade Sundell who captured the 2014 RodeoHouston Super Shootout Saddle Bronc Riding Champion, was very excited about the win and the cash prize, but most importantly the trophy and buckle belt. He told the media, “It is awesome getting all of these trinkets. I love it. Sometimes winning these trinkets is better than winning the cash, but that $25,000 is pretty nice.”
