Rodeo fans are encouraged to vote daily for the USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice travel award contest for “Best Rodeo.” “We are extremely proud to receive this recognition and to be in the running alongside so many other historic rodeos,” said George Combs.
The USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice travel awards is underway and rodeos are once again one of the categories. Voting ends Monday, July 6, and the winners will be announced on 10Best on Friday, July 17.
In 2018 Stetson Wright broke the previous Eagle Mountain saddle bronc riding record that was set by his uncle, Jesse Wright, in 2010 and matched in 2012 and 2014. Cowboys have from June 11-13 to top Wright’s record, and the rest, while claiming their share of the 2020 prize money.
