Audrey Ramsden, Miss Rodeo Washington

AUDREY RAMSDEN
MISS RODEO WASHINGTON
EVERGREEN STATE

Audrey Ramsden (Washington)

From Moses Lake, Washington, Audrey Ramsden is currently double majoring in Political Science and Global Studies with a minor in Piano and Violin Performance. After graduation she plans to continue on to law school to become a water rights lawyer. She feels that in the years to come, since water is an extremely important natural resource, there will be an increasing amount of disputes over it as our world’s population grows. She wants to ensure our farmers, ranchers and those involved in feeding our growing population will have access to the water they need.

Audrey enjoys tennis, snow skiing, water sports, fishing, camping and just about anything outdoors. She has taken on Swim Across America as a personal platform helping this nonprofit organization raise money for local cancer groups. She loves that this organization combines promoting an active, healthy lifestyle while raising money to fight a disease that affects us all in some way.

“The sport of rodeo has given me countless opportunities – opportunities to learn, opportunities to grow and opportunities to give. Wearing the Miss Rodeo America crown will allow me to continue to do all those things while realizing my dream. The crown embodies the dreams and goals I have had since I was a little girl. To me, there is no greater honor than representing my sport, my family and my heritage with a true cowgirl spirit, all while turning everyone I meet into a rodeo fan. Miss Rodeo America is an important job, and one that I could carry out with dignity, class, professionalism and grace.”
