GINA JESPERSEN
MISS RODEO NEBRASKA
CORNHUSKERS STATE

Gina Jespersen (Nebraska)

From Hemingford, Nebraska Gina Jespersen is a graduate of Black Hills State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. Eventually she would like to pursue her Master’s Degree in the field of Elementary Education, with an emphasis in Reading. She hopes to aid in the personal growth and success of young children, hoping to instill a sense of self-worth, high morals, and self-confidence.

A few of Gina’s hobbies include laughing with her twin brother, working cattle, and riding her American Quarter Horses through her families fifth generation cattle ranch and farming operation. Gina has had the pleasure of volunteering as an ambassador for the State of Nebraska Tourism, serving meals to Pilger, Nebraska Tornado survivors and the time spent giving back to local 4-H groups, aspiring children through school visits, and attending functions as a motivational speaker have provided her great memories.

“Miss Rodeo America is a true horsewoman of elegance and confidence, sharing her life passions with all she encounters. She encompasses the passions I have in life. As a fifth generation rancher and farmer on the prairies of Nebraska and an elementary teacher, I have ridden with no regrets in the literal and abstract sense on a daily basis. Each time I ride the prairies or see that beam of “I got it!” from an eager-to-learn student, I feel a sense of gratification that makes me feel whole. With a twinkle in her eye and warm smile to all youth and adults in the nation, Miss Rodeo America embraces the principles of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and is a continuous advocate for the promotion of our agriculture industry. Miss Rodeo America is the one job that would allow me to encounter all of these feelings and accomplishments at once.”
