Kalina Gipe, Miss Rodeo Pennsylvania

KALINA GIPE
MISS RODEO PENNSYLVANIA
KEYSTONE STATE

Kalina Gipe (Pennsylvania)

Kalina Gipe is from Greencastle, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Hood College with a Bachelors in Communications Arts Degree. She plans on beginning her Master’s Degree next year at USMH in an undecided major, and afterwards would like to pursue her Doctorate Degree. The areas of study she is interested in are education, communications, and agriculture.

A few hobbies of Kalina’s include horseback riding, horseshows, rodeos, tractor pulls, parades, farming and softball. She has volunteered as a helper at Valley Rose Stables – a local, non-profit, Christian camp for children and teens. At camp, she helped with the petting zoo animals and led horseback trail rides. She also supports her local horse clubs and community fairs by participating every year in local horse shows.

“I want to become Miss Rodeo America because I want to be a spokeswoman for the sport of rodeo. I think it would be a fabulous experience to travel all around America, sharing my love and knowledge of rodeo while promoting interest in the sport. My background in communications, pageant experience in the Miss Maryland Organization, and horsemanship skills and rodeo knowledge, make the perfect foundation for me to be Miss Rodeo America 2015! I feel as though I am well-equipped to take on the responsibilities of Miss Rodeo America and perform the duties to the best of my ability. I enjoy public speaking, meeting and greeting fans, and educating people about my favorite sport – rodeo!”
