“Long live the cowboy! Long live the cowboy tradition! Rodeo is just that, a celebration of the cowboy tradition and a glimpse into the cowboy future. Becoming Miss Rodeo America would allow me to lead my country into the future of rodeo. I am proud of my country, my western heritage, traditional values and most importantly, I am proud of rodeo. It is because of my pride for these things that I want to be Miss Rodeo America. By traveling and promoting the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, their contestants, and many sponsors, I would be able to remind people that not only is the western way of life thriving but that rodeo is alive and well within me and many other Americans. As the gate of the chute opens we are given the opportunity to ride off into infinite success and I am ready to grab the reins.”
