MISS RODEO ARIZONA
GRAND CANYON STATE

Taci Shaffer (Arizona)

Taci Shaffer is from San Tan Valley, Arizona and has a passion for serving others and healthy lifestyles. She plans to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism and become a television host and motivational speaker who inspires others to be “beyond beautiful.”

Taci’s favorite sport is rodeo and started competing in barrels when she was a little girl on her Shetland pony. She enjoys dancing, running, hiking, teaching aerobics and anything that keeps her active. Taci is active in the Cowgirls Historical Foundation where she volunteers as a special guest in many community and charitable events.

“While some little girls dreamed of becoming a rodeo star through barrel racing or other events. All I ever wanted was to be the queen of the rodeo. I’d secretly race around the arena and wave to my make believe audience. I fell in love with the idea at a very young age. I have competed and worked to become a rodeo queen since I could ever remember. I want to serve as Miss Rodeo America, because I am proud to be a cowgirl. For me, it’s truly about giving back everything that “being a rodeo queen” has done for me. I want to inspire our youth to accomplish their dreams; I want to help grow an understanding of what a rodeo queen is and why the iconic rodeo queen is so important. I simply want to give back all that I have to what the western lifestyle has given me.”
