For three hundred years, Mississippi was the farthest “West” you could go. Representing hospitality and Western heritage is 23-years-old, Emma Jumper of Starkville. In 2016, Emma earned a Bachelor of Business in Finance from Mississippi State University and has been accepted to Oklahoma State University’s MBA program. She anticipates a law degree in Intellectual Property and will one day preserve ranchers’ rights to genetic ownership, while growing her own family’s registered Angus operation. When she isn’t ranching, studying, or perfecting granny’s pie crust, look to the skies, this pilot may be just overhead.
