JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Eduardo Aparecido (Gouvelandia, Brazil), the No. 1 rider in the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) world standings, has now won three out of the last four events, after taking home the event title in the Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) Jacksonville Invitational Sunday afternoon at Veterans Memorial Arena. Aparecido’s career-best third win of the season widened the gap on No. 2 Jess Lockwood (Volborg, Montana), who is currently sidelined with an injury, by 887.5 points.

Aparecido went a perfect 3-for-3 on his way to victory, including a ride on Smokin’ Gun (Broken Arrow Bucking Bulls) for 86.25 points in Round 2, and a round-winning 87.25-point ride on Bezerk (BMC Bucking Bulls/Jeff Robinson) in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round. The Brazilian netted a total 550 world points and $37,100 over the weekend.

Since claiming the Iron Cowboy title in Arlington, Texas, on Feb. 18, Aparecido has gone 8-for-11, and has tallied a total of $204,033.

Fans can see all the action from Championship Sunday starting at 8 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network.

Two-time PBR World Champion J.B. Mauney (Mooresville, North Carolina), the winner of the BFTS’ last event in Jacksonville in 2008, finished in second place after his own 3-for-3 performance. Mauney rode Sin City (Mike Miller Bucking Bulls) for 83.5 points in Round 2 before going on to cover Rebel Yell II (Rickey West Bucking Bulls) for 85.75 points in the championship round.

Mauney’s second place finish in the sunshine state is his highest this season, and it rocketed him all the way to ninth in the world standings after earning 311.7 world points and $16,383.

Meanwhile, 2008 PBR World Champion Guilherme Marchi (Itupeva, Brazil) pulled himself even closer to history on Sunday when he recorded his 591stand 592nd rides to finish in third place. Marchi rode St. Patty (Jeff Robinson/Iron Spur Ranch) for 82.5 points in Round 2 before capping his weekend with an 83-point ride on Pneu-Dart’s Southern Style (Mike Miller Bucking Bulls).

The veteran Brazilian moved up to 18th in the world standings after collecting 275 world points and $11,975 in Jacksonville. He now leaves Florida only eight rides away from becoming the first rider to reach the 600-ride milestone on the PBR’s elite tour.

2015 PBR Brazil Champion Luciano De Castro (Guzolandia, Brazil) finished in fourth place, earning 220 world points and $11,375. Castro covered all three of his bulls in the River City, including a 77.75-point ride on Rocco (K-C/Josie McElroy Bucking Bulls/Spark-lin Acres) in Round 2 and an 87-point trip aboard Air Marshall (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls) in the championship round. The rookie trails fellow Brazilian Claudio Montanha Jr. (Ribeirao Dos Indios, Brazil) by 174.16 points in the 2017 Rookie of the Year race.

Fellow rookie Koal Livingston (Burleson, Texas) rounded out the Top 5 after going 2-for-3 for the highest finish of his young career. The 18-year-old was leading the event average heading into Championship Sunday and rode King Buck (BMC Bucking Bulls/Jeff Robinson) for 84.5-points in Round 2. He was later bucked off by Alligator Arms (Jeff Robinson/TNT Bucking Bulls) in 5.95 seconds in the championship round.

Livingston took home 175 world points and $8,330 for his effort and heads into next weekend as the No. 22 ranked bull rider in the world.

Jammin Jackson’s Handsome Jeff (K-C/Josie McElroy Bucking Bulls/Spark-lin Acres) was named the YETI “Built For the Wild” Bull of the Event after his 4.66 second buck off of Montanha, earning him a 44.5-point bull score in the championship round.

The PBR’s best will now head to Little Rock, Arkansas, and the Verizon Arena, for the Bad Boy Mowdown Mar. 10-11.

Fans can watch Round 1 of the Bad Boy Mowdown exclusively on PBR LIVE and the PBR LIVE app at 8:30 p.m. ET on Mar. 10. Round 2 and the Championship Round will air on PBR LIVE at 7:30 p.m. ET on Mar. 11.

CBS Sports Network will broadcast Round 2 and the Championship Round starting at 5 p.m. ET on Mar. 12.
