PUEBLO, Colo. – The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) will bring its thrilling, adrenaline-filled, edge-of-your-seat excitement for the third consecutive year to Biloxi, Mississippi, for the Battle at the Beau, brought to you locally by Sonic, on Aug. 7-8 at Mississippi Coast Coliseum.

The Battle at the Beau will be the first event of the second half of the 2015 Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS), so the riders will be well-rested and ready to meet their 2,000-lb. foes.

During the two-day event, fans will experience more than two hours of the “toughest sport on dirt” in which the most intense battle between man and beast will be played out. An overall purse of $140,000, including the $30,000 event title, will be up for grabs, as well as valuable points needed towards the $1 million 2015 PBR World Championship.

Tickets for the two-day event go on sale Friday, May 15, and are priced from $15 to $100. They can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, through the Mississippi Coast Coliseum box office or via phone at 800-726-2781.

All of the bull riding action starts at 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8. On Friday, the Top 35 bull riders in the world will face one bull each in Round 1. On Saturday, all 35 bull riders will face another bull in Round 2. After these two rounds, the scores will be totaled and the Top 15 bull riders will return for the championship round. The winner will be the rider with the highest event points after three rounds of competition.

Previous winners in Biloxi include Valdiron de Oliveira (2014) and 2004 World Champion Mike Lee (2013) – both of whom are presently scheduled to return to the Playground of the South.

Biloxi will be one of 27 cities on the 2015 PBR Built Ford Tough Series schedule. The season kicked off Jan. 2-4 at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, and will conclude at the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas on Oct. 21-25 where the 2015 PBR World Champion, the bull rider who has earned the most points during the 2015 season, will be crowned, receive the coveted World Championship belt buckle and a $1 million bonus.

While the final night of competition will air on CBS Sports Network on Sunday, Aug. 9 at 6 p.m., ET, fans can also catch each night of the action in real time on PBR LIVE via CarbonTV.com. PBR LIVE is now available at no charge to all fans and media.

The BFTS is televised every week on CBS, CBS Sports Network – the home of the PBR and networks around the world. BFTS telecasts are produced for the PBR under a multi-year agreement with David Neal Productions, a Los Angeles-based production company led by 34-time Emmy® Award winner and Peabody Award winner David Neal, who serves as executive producer.
