BFTS to Debut in Golden 1 Center in 2017

PUEBLO, Co. – The PBR’s (Professional Bull Riders) Built Ford Tough Series, which is currently experiencing one of the best years in the sport’s history, will roll into Downtown Sacramento to the new Golden 1 Center, Jan. 27-29. This will be the first PBR event in the brand new arena. The PBR, which has competed in Sacramento since 2003, has added a third day to the event featuring the world’s Top 35 riders taking on the rankest, most fearsome bulls.

In 2016, Fabiano Vieira covered Roy for 90.25 points to win in Sacramento.

Ticket prices for the three-day event range from $15 to $101 and go on sale Monday, Sept. 19.

They can be purchased at the Sleep Train Arena Box Office until the Golden 1 Center Box Office is fully operational, all Ticketmaster locations, www.ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 800-745-3000. The Sacramento Invitational takes place at the following dates and times:

– Friday, Jan. 27 – Doors open at 6:15 p.m.; event begins at 7:45 p.m.
– Saturday, Jan. 28 – Doors open at 5:15 p.m.; event begins at 6:45 p.m.
– Sunday, Jan. 29 – Doors open at 12:15 p.m.; event begins at 1:45 p.m.

After Round 1 on Friday, fans will be able to enjoy the excitement of the PBR’s 15/15 Bucking Battle. This special round of competition features the Top 15 riders in the world facing the Top 15 bulls in the competition for a chance to earn additional money and valuable PBR world standings points needed to win the $1 million PBR World Champion title later in the year.

For an enhanced PBR experience, fans can purchase PBR Elite Seats, which provide a behind-the-scenes look into the toughest sport on dirt. This experience includes early entry; tickets to a premium seating section; a catered reception; a 60-minute, backstage tour by a PBR Host, featuring a PBR 101 presentation and visit with the sport’s fiercest bulls; and the opportunity for photos and autographs from the top PBR stars. PBR Elite Seat ticketholders will receive a 2017 PBR program, a souvenir Elite Seat credential and lanyard and other memorabilia autographed by the world’s Top 35 bull riders.
