Brown and Roquemore off to Anaheim

PUEBLO, Colo. ― Cody Brown earned a total of 174 points while at the Professional Bull Riders N. Little Rock, Ark., PBR Velocity Tour event this past Saturday for the win. Brown picked up the top score of the event during the short go with an 89-point effort, collecting $3,499.98 on the night.

Aaron Pass, who won the Touring Pro Division event two weeks ago in Columbus, Ga., placed second with 86.5 points in both the long round and the short go for 173 points and $2,868.75 in winnings. Lane Lasley took third with 172.5 points to earn $1,721.25.

Keith Roquemore won his second Touring Pro event of the 2014 season at the Yakima Legends Casino PBR Invitational, splitting first place in the long round with 83 points while placing second in the short go with 84.5 points. Roquemore was one of only two riders to ride both of his bulls for a combined score of 167.5 points to win $3,987.57.

Reagan Avery was the other bull rider to go 2-for-2 on the event, picking up 154.5 points and $2,409.75, while Cody Ford won the short go with 86 points to take third place overall and $1,950.75.

With their wins in Little Rock and Yakima, Brown and Roquemore have both earned alternate spots on the Built Ford Tough Series tour this weekend for the LiftMaster Chute Out on Feb.7-9 in Anaheim, Calif., at the Honda Center.

The TPD will stop in Ohio, Oregon and Massachusetts this weekend.

Brant AtwoodSkeeter Kingsolver and Harve Stewart are all scheduled to ride at the PBR Toledo Invitational at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio. Competition will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, and Saturday, Feb. 8.

The Wrangler PBR Classic at the Moda Center in Portland, Ore., will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dakota Beck, Cody Ford and Tony Mendes are all ready to ride.

Atwood, Stewart, Austin Meier and Josh Faircloth will compete at the Worcester, Mass., PBR Velocity Tour event at the DCU Center starting at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, and 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9.
