PUEBLO, Colo. – Two-time PBR World Champion Bull Bushwacker has added an appearance at the Professional Bull Riders Salinas Touring Pro Division event in Salinas, California, to his summer schedule and farewell tour. The event takes place at the Salinas Sports Complex on Wednesday, July 16, and kicks off the California Rodeo Salinas. It will be streamed in real time on PBR LIVE.

The PBR Salinas TPD starts at 7 p.m. PT. Tickets start at $10 for children and $25 for adults. They can be purchased at the California Rodeo Box Office, by calling 800-549-4989 or online at www.CARODEO.com.

Bushwacker’s retirement was announced earlier this year by his owner Julio Moreno, a long-time resident of Oakdale, California. Bushwacker will compete for the last time at the 2014 PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals on Oct. 22-24.

The 1,765-pound athlete has been perfect in 2014, making short work of the men he’s faced to date, including reigning PBR World Champion J.B. Mauney and current PBR world standings leader and 2008 PBR World Champion Guilherme Marchi.

Last weekend, Bushwacker thwarted four-time defending PRCA champion J.W. Harris’ attempt to win $100,000 for a successful 8-second ride in less than four seconds during a special matchup at the DCB PBR Bull Riding Challenge in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Salinas PBR fans will have a rare opportunity to see the living legend and fans around the world will be able to watch all the action live on Wednesday, July 16 at 10 p.m. ET on PBR LIVE.
