BILOXI, Miss. – Cody Campbell (Summerville, Oregon) and Mike Lee (Decatur, Texas) split the victory Saturday night at the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour (RVT) event in Biloxi, Mississippi, at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The pair were the only riders to go 2-for-2 in the event.

Lee and Campbell each put up scores of 85.5 and 84.5 to earn 65 points apiece towards the PBR world standings. Lee, the 2004 PBR World Champion, rode Nefarious (BMC Bucking Bulls/Jeff Robinson) for 84.5 points in the championship round to earn a paycheck of $5,500 while Campbell rode Ghost Story (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls) for 85.5 points to earn $5,850.

Winners of each BDT event in 2017 will be guaranteed at least one opportunity to compete at a PBR Built Ford Tough Series regular-season event where they can attempt to win enough points to rank among the Top 35 bull riders in the world and earn a spot competing at the sport’s elite level. Due to his share of the title in Biloxi, Campbell will compete at the Frontier Communications Showdown in Anaheim, California, on February 3-4.

Koal Livingston, the 18-year old from Burleson, Texas, continued his hot streak from last week where he finished in a tie for the win in Hidalgo, Texas, with a third-place finish this weekend in Biloxi. Livingston had a Round 1 score of 87 points atop Western Moments (Jenkins Cattle Co.) to earn 30 points towards the PBR World Standings along with $3,300.

Matt Triplett (Columbia Falls, Montana), Marco Eguchi (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Rubens Barbosa (Uberlandia, Brazil) all finished in a tie for fourth place with ride scores of 86.5 in Round 1. Each rider earned 15 points towards the PBR World Standings and paychecks each of $1,533.33.

Triplett rode Scary Harry (JD Nix Rodeo Co.), Eguchi rode Dennis The Menace (Rocking I Rodeo Co.) and Barbosa rode Mr. Mustachio (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls).

The 2017 RTP Velocity Tour will culminate with the Velocity Finals at South Point Arena in Las Vegas on Oct. 28-30, leading into the PBR’s 2017 Built Ford Tough World Finals.

PBR.com will air an hour-long highlight show of the Biloxi event on Wednesday, Dec. 14.  Visit PBR LIVE to watch the action from Biloxi.
