Campbell and Leme Victorious at Two Separate RVT Events

Cody Campbell picked up the victory at the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour (RVT) event on Saturday night when he won the Peoria Classic at the Peoria Civic Center.

Campbell went 2-for-2 on the night, picking up 80 points toward the PBR world standings. Campbell tied for the Round 1 win with an 86.5-point score but in the championship round he won easily with a 90-point ride. With the victory he pocketed $7,000.

Paulo Lima, Keyshawn Whitehorse and Neil Holmes all tied for second place as each earned 33.3 points towards the world standings. Lima rode to 85.5 points in Round 1, Whitehorse had a score of 84 in the round while Holmes tied for the round win with a score of 86.5.

In the championship round Whitehorse’s ride score of 88.5 was good enough for second while Lima had 87 points and Holmes had 86. Each rider earned $3,233.33.

Claudio Montanha Jr. and Ricky Aguiar finished in fifth and sixth place, respectively. Montanha earned 15 world points while Aguiar picked up 10 world points.

In Kearney, Nebraska the newly crowned 2017 PBR Rookie of the Year, Jose Vitor Leme earned his first win of the 2018 season as he was victorious on Saturday night.

With an 86-point score in Round 1 and then 87 points in Round 2 he earned 80 points toward the PBR world standings along with $7,662.33

Stetson Lawrence finished in second place earning 50 world points and a paycheck of $5,296.78. He also went 2-for-2 with an 82.5-point ride in Round 1 while tying with Leme with 87 points in Round 2.

Finishing in third place was Justin Granger who tallied an 86-point ride in Round 1. He earned 30 points towards the world standings and took home $3,239.78.

Fourth place went to Daniel Hollingsworth. He recorded an 84-point score in the first round to earn 20 world points and a paycheck of $2,057.

Fifth and sixth places went to Brant Atwood and Lonnie West who each added 15 and 10 points, respectively towards the world standings.

The next stop on the Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour will be in Oakland, California on Jan. 6 at Oracle Arena.
