Championship Bull Riding Takes a New Direction

Weatherford, TX – January 31, 2018 – Effective today, former Chief Executive Officer and majority stockholder, Wes Bruce is assuming the role of Chairman of the Board and CEO of Championship Bull Riding (CBR). “I am excited to return to CBR. It is time for a new direction and I look forward to implementing some fresh ideas to expand our tours,” stated Bruce.

“I would like to thank the previous Board of Directors and Officers for their efforts and wish them well with their future endeavors,” Bruce added.

During his former role as CEO from 2007 to 2012, Mr. Bruce was responsible for creating the Road to Cheyenne and CBR Horizon series, the revolutionary 8 Second Format, as well as the Million Dollar Bull Team Challenge. “CBR has a long history of producing high quality events and providing great entertainment to our fans. We also have given bull riders and stock contractors fantastic opportunities to compete at the highest level.”
