Cody Teel – Lessons Learned from Lane Frost’s Legacy

A Wrangler Network special video presentation.

David Sharp talks with Cody Teel and his family.

In 2012, a tall and lanky 20-year old from Texas named Cody Teel won the PRCA Bull Riding World Championship. Many will say that he was “born to bull ride”. His dad Robbie, a PRCA bull rider in the 1980’s, certainly had an influence. But like so many young people born after the death of Lane Frost, his interest in the movie 8 Seconds, created a desire to participate in the sport.

Although Cody never met Lane in real life, he tries to model his actions after the legendary bull rider…”never meet a stranger” and “always find time to talk to rodeo fans”.
