PUEBLO, Colo. – Country music legends Moe Bandy, T.G. Sheppard, Kelly Lang and Wynn Varble will headline the musical fare at Las Vegas Helldorado Days, the iconic western festival scheduled for May 13-15, it was announced today by PBR (Professional Bull Riders), Las Vegas Centennial, and the Las Vegas Elks.  This classic country lineup has tallied more than 25 number-one country hits.

Globally-renowned Las Vegas tribute acts Max Lewis as Elvis Presley and Rat Pack Flashback: A Tribute to Frank, Dean and Sammy, will also perform on the festival grounds at the Las Vegas Village across from the Luxor hotel.

Details on show times and ticketing for these free, limited-capacity performances presented by Cooper Tires will be announced in the coming days. Show tickets will be available at the Cooper Tires activation areas on the Helldorado Days festival grounds.

“We’re excited to have country music titans who have sold millions of records and have packed houses around the world for many years performing for our fans and in support of the rich heritage of Las Vegas Helldorado Days,” said Sean Gleason, CEO of PBR, which is producing the three-day event. “What better way to celebrate the history of an iconic event than to bring back the stars who have graced the stages of America’s biggest rodeos and have been at the center of a unique American tradition for decades. Right on the glittering Las Vegas strip, Helldorado Days will offer the adrenaline-pumping excitement of PBR along with traditional rodeo, classic country music, great food, and tributes to Las Vegas’ most popular performers.”

Las Vegas Helldorado Days presented by Monster Energy will include a wide variety of activities for guests of all ages, with Tailgate Entertainment’s PBR Last Cowboy Standing as its centerpiece. The festival grounds will feature five key areas:

Helldorado Days Arena:   This central area will host both the Tailgate Entertainment’s PBR Last Cowboy Standing – one of the sport’s four Majors this season – and Helldorado Days Rodeo. Specialty acts including world-champion trick ropers will perform for free in the arena prior to each performance. Fans will also see Bull Fighters Only, an exciting new addition to PBR competition pitting a professional bull fighter against a Mexican fighting bull.

Western World: This fully interactive space will include the Cooper Tires Saloon, live musical entertainment, World Champion Trick Roper Rider Kiesner, Native American Dancers and the Shenanigans Western Gun Fighting Show

Viva Las Vegas: Portraying Las Vegas the way it used to be, this area includes the Tito’s Tavern with dueling pianos, a replica Welcome to Las Vegas Sign, Las Vegas Showgirls and a wide variety of classic neon signs from the famous strip.

Carnival: Dedicated to games and multiple carnival rides for both children and adults

Food Court: Fans will have a wide variety of food options and large seating area.

Additionally, all of the ancillary events that occur during the Helldorado Days event week will return, including a downtown parade, the carnival, art show & auction, golf tournament, whiskerino contest.

Helldorado Days has been a Las Vegas staple since its creation in 1934 to provide entertainment to the nearly 20,000 workers building the Hoover Dam. This festival has touched the lives of many Las Vegas residents, young and old, while also attracting visitors from around the United States who have enjoyed this iconic experience.

“PBR has deep roots in Las Vegas, which for the past 23 years has been the only host of the Built Ford Tough World Finals,” Gleason said. “This city is a true partner, and we’re investing in the revitalization of an iconic family-oriented community event that deserves to flourish.”
