Oklahoma cowboy Jake Gowdy (Bristow, Oklahoma) finished fourth, backed by an 85-point effort on Mr. Nightlinger (Humpz and Hornz/ Sis ‘N’ Stan Bucking Bulls) in the opening round. Despite being dispatched off of Hell Pony (Julio Moreno/ Dallas Schott) in the championship round he leaves Ontario with $2,000 and 20 world points.
