THACKERVILLE, Okla. – After a week off, the Built Ford Tough Series returns to action this weekend with the WinStar World Casino and Resort Invitational.

Here are some notes and things to keep in mind when setting your PBR Ultimate Fantasy lineup this week.

TIER A: INJURY WOES

Tier A will present quite the dilemma to fantasy players this weekend in Thackerville as No. 1 Guilherme Marchi (right knee) and No. 2 Fabiano Vieira (right shoulder) are both going to try and ride through injuries.

If you are not looking to roll the dice, it may be to wise to ride the hot hand of Silvano Alves. The two-time World Champion went 5-for-5 last weekend at the Monster Energy PBR Brazil Finals for a second-place finish. However, Alves does have a tough Round 1 draw against Recovery Time, who is unridden in 10 PBR outs (four on the BFTS).

Another rider to think about is Mike Lee. The 2004 World Champion had a very strong summer in outdoor Touring Pro Division events and he has a favorable matchup against Flab Slab in Round 1, who has rewarded a rider a score of 85 points or higher in in the five career outs in which he was ridden in at various levels.

TIER B: APARECIDO’S NOTEWORTHY CONSISTENCY

With two picks at your disposal for Tier B, it may be wise to use one on Eduardo Aparecido, as the 10th-ranked rider in the world has a 50 percent riding average this season on the BFTS, which is just under 10 points higher than J.B. Mauney — the rider with the second-highest riding percentage in Tier B.

Eduardo Aparecido scores 89 points on Rock River Red in the championship round of the 2014 Express Employment Professionals Classic, presented by Jack Daniel’s in Tulsa, Okla.

Speaking of Mauney, it will be interesting to see if the defending World Champion can start to pick up some momentum this weekend. While it is hard to put any weight in streaks carrying over from the first half, Mauney currently has only one ride in his last 14 BFTS outs. He takes on More Big Bucks and Dr. Wishes in Rounds 1 & 2 in Thackerville.

Other riders to keep an eye on include Tulsa event-winner Gage Gay and Top-10 rider Kasey Hayes. After rising to the occasion in Tulsa to ride Jared Allen’s Magic Train for 87 points, Hayes gets to take on another strong ABBI Classic Bull in Margy Time on Friday night.

TIER C: NUNES IS ROLLING ALONG

Renato Nunes may be the hottest rider in Tier C, while quietly flying under the radar for most of the season. The 2010 World Champion has strung together a streak of four consecutive BFTS events with at least two rides and is currently 16th in the world standings. Stuntin Like My Daddy is 3-0 against left-handed riders, but he has yet to face a lefty as talented as Nunes. He then faces Savage in Round 2.

Two weeks after placing a season-high fourth in Tulsa, 2009 World Champion Kody Lostroh looked the best as he has all year after going 2-for-3 in the first BFTS event of the second half. He will face Crystal Pistol in Round 1, the same bull that fellow left-handed rider Chase Outlaw rode for a round-winning 88.25 points in Tulsa.

Stormy Wing, who averages 87 points per ride, will look to rebound in Thackerville with a first-round meeting against Kinda Crooked, a new bull to the BFTS, and a Round 2 showdown with J.W. Hughes Excavation, who Mauney rode for 89 points at the 2013 Built Ford Tough World Finals.

If you’re looking for a sleeper pick, Jerome Davis said earlier this week that he felt Josh Faircloth was gaining confidence and could be ready for a strong end to the season. Faircloth is slated to take on Wiggin Out and Flirting with Disaster. Faircloth was bucked off by Flirting with Disaster at the 2010 World Finals in 3.7 seconds.

BULL WORTHY: GAINING SOME AIR TIME

Can Air Time make it three consecutive BFTS events as the high-marked bull? Regardless, if his 47.5-point marking in Tulsa and 47-point performance at Last Cowboy Standing is any sign of things to come in Thackerville then fantasy players should plug this bull into their lineups.

Air Time puts up a massive 47.5 points while bucking off Kasey Hayes in the championship round of the 2014 PBR BFTS Express Employment Professionals Classic, presented by Jack Daniels in Tulsa, Okla.

Other bulls to keep an eye on include Asteroid, Mick E Mouse and Shepherd Hills Tested. Thackerville will mark Shepherd Hill Tested’s second-half BFTS debut after the bull finished with a bull score of 45 points or higher in his final four first-half BFTS events.

ICYMI: TULSA DREAM TEAM

The Tulsa Dream Team included Silvano Alves (Tier A), Eduardo Aparecido (Tier B), Kasey Hayes (Tier B), Gage Gay (Tier C) Douglas Duncan and Kody Lostroh (Tier C), as well as Jared Allen’s H4WW Air Time, Bushwacker and Asteroid.
