The Canby (Ore.) Rodeo record books date back to 1989.

One cowboy who has his named listed as one of Canby Rodeo’s best is tie-down roper Scott Kormos. Kormos has the fastest tie-down roping record of the rodeo at 7.0 seconds in 2008. Kormos has qualified for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo eight times, the last coming in 2013.

The 2018 Canby Rodeo takes place Aug. 14-18.
