Cowboy Christmas is the busiest and most-lucrative time of the year in ProRodeo with more than 50 rodeos happening across the U.S. and Canada around Independence Day.
With big money on the line, cowboys bring their best to each arena and often set arena records – so when July rolls around, ‘tis the season to set records.
The following arena records are for the Eugene (Ore.) ProRodeo, which runs July 1-3; the Black Hills Roundup Rodeo in Belle Fourche, S.D., which runs July 1-4; the Cody (Wyo.) Stampede, which runs July 1-4; and the Molalla (Ore.) Buckeroo Rodeo, which runs July 1-4.
