BIG CITY BUCKOFF – The Built Ford Tough Series revisits New York and Madison Square Garden for the ninth consecutive year with the Monster Energy Buck Off at The Garden. Competition begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16; 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17 and at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 18.
UP NEXT – The Express Employment Professionals Invitational is the next stop for the BFTS, as the PBR stops in Oklahoma City, at the Chesapeake Energy Arena, Jan. 23-25. The event will take place at 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23; 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24; and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25.
PAST NEW YORK EVENT WINNERS – 2013 PBR World Champion J.B. Mauney has successfully earned the win at Madison Square Garden three times in his career, including last season tying Fabiano Vieira for the event title.
FORMAT – This weekend, the Top 35 bull riders on the BFTS will compete in Round 1 on Friday night, Round 2 on Saturday night and Round 3 on Sunday night, facing one bull in each round. The riders with the Top 15 scores after three rounds will advance to the Built Ford Tough Championship Round on Sunday for an additional ride and a chance at the $30,000 event title.
POSSIBLE POINTS – There are 800 possible points available in New York, as the winner of the event will receive 400 points and each of the four round wins is worth 100 points apiece.
PROVIDING PROTECTION – The Dickies® Bullfighters this weekend are Jesse Byrne of Okotoks, Alberta; Shorty Gorham of Cotulla, Texas; and Frank Newsom of Paoli, Oklahoma.

The PBR 15/15 Bucking Battle will be shown on CBS Network on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET. CBS Sports Network will broadcast Round 2 of the Monster Energy Buckoff at the Garden on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET, as well as Round 3 and the Built Ford Tough Championship Round on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. Veteran broadcaster Craig Hummer will provide the play-by-play, and color commentary will be provided by Ty Murray, while Leah Garcia will handle dirt-level interviews.

15/15 BUCKING BATTLE SCHEDULE – Each 15/15 Bucking Battle features the Top 15 riders in the world competing against the 15 highest-ranked bulls at the event for extra bonus points and an additional purse of $21,000.
