Game Notes: World Finals

FINAL COUNTDOWN – The event that every rider has been working towards all season is finally here, the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals will take place in Las Vegas for the 21st consecutive year on Oct. 22-26 at the Thomas & Mack Center. The richest bull riding event in the world has a $2.3 million purse, including a $1 million bonus to the 2013 PBR World Champion, who also receives the coveted World Champion buckle.

WORLD CHAMPIONS – The PBR World Champion is determined by the bull rider who earns the most Built Ford Tough Series points throughout the regular season and the Built Ford Tough World Finals. Silvano Alves is looking to become the first three-time consecutive champion in history. Adriano Moraes is the only other bull rider to win three titles. He won the first title in 1994, and became the first two-time winner in 2001. He became the only three-time winner in 2006.
