Grand Opening of TransAlta Performing Arts Studios

Calgary – The official grand opening of the TransAlta Performing Arts Studios takes place Friday, March 31, 2017. The Calgary Stampede Foundation would like to invite the media to view and experience the state-of-the-art facility. Please join us for a special media availability at 2:30 p.m.

This is the first facility to open as part of a broader youth campus on Stampede Park. The 13,000 sq. ft. studio features seven rehearsal rooms individually designed to provide young Calgarians with a much needed space to gather, learn, and celebrate the arts.

Come see the Young Canadians rehearse in their new home. Interviews will be available with some of the young performers as well as with representatives from the Calgary Stampede, Calgary Stampede Foundation and TransAlta.
