Helldorado Days Returns to Las Vegas Village May 11-14

LAS VEGAS – The PBR’s (Professional Bull Riders) Built Ford Tough Series, now enjoying one of the most successful and competitive years in the sport’s history, alongside Las Vegas Elks Lodge #1468 and the Las Vegas Centennial Committee will bring rich western culture back to The Strip as Las Vegas Helldorado Days returns May 11-14 at the Las Vegas Village.

Tickets for the multi-day festival, showcasing the top bull riding athletes in the world and leading rodeo competitors in the country, go on-sale to the public Wednesday, March 8 and range in price from $10 to $250. Tickets are available by calling PBR Direct at (800) 732-1727 or visiting ticketmaster.com.

The event will offer the thrills of PBR’s Last Cowboy Standing; a pro rodeo featuring all seven traditional disciplines; fun carnival rides and games for the entire family; Western gun fighting shows; the one-and-only Whiskerino mustache and beard growing contest; mouth-watering foods; cold beer; live music lineups and much more. Las Vegas Helldorado Days takes place at the following dates and times:

– Thursday, May 11 – Doors open at 5 p.m.; PRCA Rodeo begins at 8 p.m.
– Friday, May 12 – Doors open at 5 p.m.; PBR’s Last Cowboy Standing begins at 7:45 p.m.
– Saturday, May 13 – Doors open at 2 p.m.; PRCA Rodeo begins at 4:30 p.m. & PBR’s Last Cowboy Standing begins at 8:30 p.m.
– Sunday, May 14 – Doors open at 2 p.m.; PRCA Rodeo begins at 5:30 p.m.

As the third PBR Major of the 2017 Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS), Last Cowboy Standing will feature the Top 40 bull riders in the world facing off against the sport’s fiercest bulls in round after round of heart-pounding, dirt-flying, adrenaline-fueled action. Each bull rider will be competing for the $100,000 first prize and the bonus PBR world standings points offered at each PBR Major. To advance from one round to the next, the athletes will have to make the 8-second buzzer. The competition continues until only one cowboy remains as the man who has ridden the most bulls consecutively and can claim the title as “the last cowboy standing.”
