Homegrown Heroes Night – A Salute to Our First Responders

Calgary – On Monday, July 10, the Calgary Stampede will recognize first responders and the Canadian Forces with Homegrown Heroes Night. During Homegrown Heroes Night, the Evening Show will take on a special message to show appreciation for the heroes that serve our communities and help to keep us safe.

“We want to honour, celebrate and give back to those who give so much to our community. This special night is meant to bring together our local heroes with their families, friends and the community, to thank them for all that they do,” says David Sibbald, president and chairman of the board at the Calgary Stampede.

The Calgary Stampede invites fire fighters, police officers, RCMP, EMT’s, Canadian Forces and CEMA to join us at the Evening Show to celebrate the heroes’ contributions to our community, while celebrating with their family and friends.

“The evening is all about community spirit and letting our local heroes know that the community supports them,” adds Sibbald.

Join us as we honour our local Homegrown Heroes by purchasing tickets at CalgaryStampede.com/Heroes.
