LAS VEGAS – Young gun Jess Lockwood (Volborg, Montana) was a man on a mission Saturday night as he picked up the opening night Round 1 win at the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour Finals at South Point Arena.

Amidst one of the tightest World Championship races in PBR history, Lockwood secured the round victory with an impressive 91-point ride aboard Night Sweats (Plummer/Hart Cattle Co.).

Lockwood earned 80 points toward the PBR world standings with the victory and is currently ranked fifth in the world, only 615 points out of the top spot.
