BILLINGS, Mont. – 2004 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) World Champion Mike Lee achieved a major PBR milestone during Round 2 of the Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) Stanley Performance In Action Invitational on Saturday night at Rimrock Auto Arena.

Lee rode Tahonta’s Magic (Rockin I Rodeo) for 86.75 points en route to collecting the 500th BFTS ride of his career. He is just the second PBR bull rider to accomplish the feat, joining 2008 PBR World Champion Guilherme Marchi.

The Billings, Montana, native also finished fourth in the round and added 40 world standings points to his total.

Veteran Kasey Hayes posted an 89.5-point effort atop Buckle Up (J.A.R.S. Bucking Bulls/Gene Owen) to take the round win for 100 points towards the world standings.

After covering Grey Ghost (D&H Cattle Co.) for 87.5 points, Cooper Davis was the first rider to pick up two ride scores on the weekend and a second-place finish in the round for 60 world standings points.

Rookie Derek Kolbaba placed third with 87 points aboard I’m A Gangster Too (Jeff Robinson/TNT Bucking Bulls), picking up 50 points towards the world standings.

Canadian Tanner Byrne amassed 30 points towards the world standings after finishing in fifth place with a 86.25-point performance on Air Marshall (D&H Cattle Co./Tim Dougherty).

Lachlan Richardson and three-time PBR World Champion Silvano Alves rounded out the Top 7. Richardson rode Wild Bob Cody (Rockin’ I Rodeo) for 86 points and 15 points towards the world standings, while Alves picked up 85.5 points atop Cracker Jack (Rockin’ I Rodeo/Carpenter) and 5 world standings points.

Following Round 2 was the sixth PBR Bucking Battle of the 2016 season, where the bulls dominated as no rider was able to turn in a qualified ride. Reigning World Champion Bull SweetPro’s Long John (D&H Cattle Co.) led the pack with a 46.5-point bull score after bucking off Gage Gay in 4.35 seconds.

Round 3 and the Built Ford Tough Championship Round of the Stanley Performance In Action Invitational will take place at 2 p.m. MT, Sunday, April 17.

CBS Sports Network will broadcast all the action at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday.

The Stanley Performance In Action Invitational is the 14th stop on the 2016 Built Ford Tough Series schedule. The season kicked off Jan. 9-10 in Rosemont, Illinois, and will conclude at the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas on Nov. 2-6, taking place at the new T-Mobile Arena. After five days of competition, the 2016 PBR World Champion, the bull rider who has earned the most PBR world standings points during the 2016 season, will be crowned and receive the coveted $10,000 World Championship belt buckle and a $1 million bonus.

The BFTS is televised every week on CBS, CBS Sports Network – the home of the PBR – and networks around the world. Television ratings for PBR on CBS are up more than 29% this season compared to last year at the same time, according to Nielsen. BFTS telecasts are produced for the PBR under a multi-year agreement with David Neal Productions, a Los Angeles-based production company led by 34-time Emmy® Award winner and Peabody Award winner David Neal, who serves as executive producer.
