Live on the Edge at the Brand New, Action-packed Monster Energy Compound!

Calgary – The Monster Energy Compound will take its motocross show to the extreme during the 2018 Calgary Stampede, where world-class motocross athletes will soar to new heights on the first ever quarter pipe to hit Stampede Park, July 6 – 15, 2018!

With seven shows per day and nine motocross athletes, including X Games medalists Axell Hodges, Kris Foster and Jeremy ‘Twitch’ Stenberg, produced by Keith Sayers, the Monster Energy Compound will add an extra level of excitement to the Midway.

“All of the action is high-flying, with the riders launching 30 ft. in the air,” says Susan Beirnes, Programming Design Manager at the Calgary Stampede. “The Monster Energy Compound is action-packed and sure to get the adrenaline pumping on the Midway, especially with the new addition of the quarter pipe.”

Stampede guests and adrenaline junkies alike can witness all of the high-flying flips and tricks each day with three Freestyle Motocross (FMX) shows and three quarter pipe shows, plus there will be an evening encore performance combining FMX and the quarter pipe as the Stampede fireworks light up the night sky. This year the new Monster Energy Compound will be located outdoors on the Midway.

The Monster Energy Compound is free with admission to the Calgary Stampede. For more information on the Monster Energy Compound and for the daily show schedule, please visit CalgaryStampede.com/MonsterEnergyCompound.
