PUEBLO, Colo. – The Professional Bull Riders reigning World Champion and fan favorite J.B. Mauney will be a guest on “ROME” today, June 13, starting at 6 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network.

Hosted by Jim Rome, one of the industry’s most listened to and influential sports hosts, “ROME” features news and opinions on the day’s hottest sports stories, with rants and debates, including guest appearances by some of the biggest names in sports.

Mauney captured his World Champion title in dramatic fashion last season, winning five of the last nine Built Ford Tough Series events and going a perfect 6-for-6 on his bulls at the Built Ford Tough World Finals. During his winning streak, the then 26-year-old broke two-time World Champion Bull Bushwacker’s buckoff streak of 42, becoming the first rider to conquer ESPN The Magazine’s “Baddest Body in Sports” in four years.

On his ninth attempt against the talented bovine, Mauney covered Bushwacker for a season-high score of 95.25 points, earned boundless bragging rights and captured the event title in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The North Carolina native has ridden in the PBR for the past nine years and made a name for himself early in his career, but that fateful moment in Tulsa ensured he will go down in PBR history as a dragon slayer.

CBS Sports and CBS SN are the exclusive TV partners of the PBR, providing coverage of 27 events annually, including more than 100 hours of original event programming.
