Michael Lane and Sean Willingham Tie for the Victory in Archdale

ARCHDALE, N.C. – Sean Willingham (Summerville, GA) and Michael Lane (Tazewell, Virginia) tied for the win at the 19^th annual TNT Carports Jerome Davis PBR Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour (RVT) event on Saturday night.

The event was broken down into two separate long and championship rounds and the winner of the event was the rider with the highest two-score aggregate score from either Friday or Saturday. Willingham won night one after an 86.5-point ride on Dip Stick and Lane led night two after covering Slasher for 86.5 points. Each rider earned 65 points towards the world standings and checks for $5,639.

Devon Weaver (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) earned third place after covering Stealth Mode for 86 points in night one. The 25-year-old will be going home with 30 points towards the world standings and $2,959.79.

Alex Marcilio (Macaubal, Brazil) earned a fourth-place finish after an 85-point ride on Bad Apple in night one of the competition. The Brazilian pocketed 20 world points and $3,327.57.

Fraser Babbington (Gisborne, New Zealand) rounded the Top 5 after covering Fast Talker for 78.5 points on Saturday night. The 30-year-old earned 15 points towards the world standings and a check for $2,423.87.

The 2017 Velocity Tour will culminate with the Velocity Tour Finals at South Point Arena in Las Vegas on Oct. 28-30, leading into the PBR’s Built Ford Tough World Finals, Nov. 1-5 at T-Mobile Arena.
