BILLINGS, Mont. ― Professional Bull Riders Tennessee native Cody Nance won his third event of the 2014 Built Ford Tough season while at Rimrock Auto Arena in Billings Sunday afternoon and moved into the Top 10 of the PBR World Standings.

Nance rode Chad Berger’s Smackdown for 88.5 points in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round to help capture the event title with a 4-for-4 performance and a total of 339.50 points. Nance previously won in Fresno, Calif., two weeks ago and Tacoma, Wash., just a month ago.

Two-time PBR World Champion Silvano Alves racked up 336 points during the weekend for a second place-finish. Alves won the Built Ford Tough Championship Round with an 89.75-point effort aboard King Buck (BMC Bucking Bulls/Owen Ranch). Alves has increased his consistency of late and has ridden 11 of his last 15 bulls to slowly move him back up the ranks. He now sits in fifth place in the world standings.

Montana native Matt Triplett placed third after being bucked off in the championship round by Shepherd Hills Stockman (Wolf Creek Cattle Co./Shepherd Hills Cutlery/Tom Luthy) in 1.52 seconds. Triplett led the event going into the final round after earning 89 points on Guns & Donuts(Silver Creek Pro Rodeo) for the Round 3 win.

Brazilians Eduardo Aparecido (257 points) and 2013 Rookie of the YearJoao Ricardo Vieira (175.25) rounded out the Top 5.

International Indian Finals Rodeo Champion Guytin Tsosie placed sixth in Billings for his second Top-10 finish in two of the three BFTS events to which he was invited by the PBR. As such, Tsosie is now ranked No. 30 in the world standings, earning himself an official position on the BFTS tour.

Invitee J.W. Harris, the four-time PRCA champion, finished in seventh place in Billings to move to No. 33 in the world standings. He needed to be in the Top 30 after his three exemptions in order claim an official position.

White Lie (Summit Pro Rodeo/Greg Talbert) captured the Salem National Lease High-Marked Bull title of the event for his 45.50-point score after bucking off Harris in 4.98 seconds during the championship round.
