Night Two of the California Rodeo Gets Superhero Approval and Big Attendance Number
Fight Hunger Night brought 11 Produce Mascots to the Track
SALINAS, CA – Night two of the 105th California Rodeo Salinas got two thumbs up from fans. Mutton Busting, fireworks and trick riding was a big hit. 13, 172 people attended to watch the Rodeo and track action. Attendance was up over 1,200 tickets, or 10%, from the Friday performance in 2014. The Produce Mascot Race stole the show on the track to benefit Ag Against Hunger. Mascots from Bengard Ranches, Church Brothers, Dole Fresh Vegetables, Mann Packing, Naturipe Berry Farms, Ocean Mist Farms, Pacific International Marketing, Sakata Seeds, Tanimura & Antle, Taylor Farms and The Nunes Company raced down the track with Church Brothers Fresh Prince of Broc taking the glory.
