Palermo, Cardozo, Marchi Out for Remainder of Finals

LAS VEGAS – Dr. Tandy Freeman has provided further injury updates following Friday night’s Round 3 of the Built Ford Tough World Finals.

According to Freeman, Robson Palermo is out of competition after spraining his neck when he landed on his head during his 7.21-second buckoff against Fire Rock.

Meanwhile, Alexandre Cardozo is also out after being diagnosed with a broken neck (C6-7) and back (T5) when he landed on his head after being thrown from Fire House (3.4-second buckoff).

2008 World Champion Guilherme Marchi is also out of competition after tearing his right MCL during his 6.37-second buckoff against Oscar P.

All three are out for the remainder of the Finals and have been replaced in the draw by Tyler Harr, Jay Miller and Wallace de Oliveira.
