PBR Awards Three Passport Grand Prize Winners

PUEBLO, Colo. – Fans of the Professional Bull Riders have an opportunity to go where no fan has gone before when they sign up for PBR Passport. In that vein, recently three lucky PBR fans were named winners of the PBR Passport Grand Prize giveaways. Crista Prill is the final winner in the Passport contest with the $25,000 grand prize.

Prill (Sheridan, Wyoming) is the recipient of a cash payout worth $25,000. She signed up for the Passport giveaways through the PBR Passport Facebook page. Prill has been a fan of the PBR for many years and says she remembers watching Ty Murray when he was a rider on the circuit. Right now she enjoys watching 2013 PBR World Champion J.B. Mauney, three-time world champion Silvano Alves and 2014 Rookie of the Year J.W. Harris compete.

“I have been a fan of the PBR for many years,” Prill said. “I would like to use the money to maybe help my family and I go to the event in Billings as well as the 2015 World Finals. But mainly I’m going to use the money to travel to see my daughter and granddaughter in Florida.”

Didn’t win this year? Make sure you get your “Ticket to Ride” in 2015, as Passport will be bigger and better than ever. Look forward to more prizes and more opportunities to win! Register and check for updates here.

Prill joins the other two winners, Paula Kuhns winner of the round-trip for two to the 2015 PBR World Finals and Lori Gregory winner of the BFTS tickets for life.

Gregory (Marshalltown, Iowa) is the recipient of the PBR tickets for life to any BFTS event she would like to attend. Gregory had just one entry into the Grand Prize drawing when she signed up for PBR Passport at the Des Moines, Iowa, event in April 2014. She has been a fan of the PBR for more than 18 years after meeting her husband, and together the two have become fans and follow each event. Gregory cites Guilherme Marchi as  a favorite rider of the family and she enjoys seeing him ride.

“I’m so excited to have won these tickets,” Gregory said. “We’re going to use it as an excuse to go to more events now. We have a 16-year-old daughter who loves the rodeo and bull riding and has since she was a baby. She is also a huge Flint fan so this might give her an opportunity to meet him. That makes me excited for her as well.”

Kuhns (Redfield, Iowa) won a round-trip for two to the 2015 PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas on two entries. The prize includes round trip coach airfare for two, hotel accommodations for seven days/six nights, premier tickets to each performance of the 2015 World Finals, invitations to exclusive PBR functions, a merchandise package, as well as $2,000 in cash. Total approximate retail value of this Grand Prize is $10,000.

Kuhns was particularly lucky as she had never been to a bull riding event prior to the attending the one in Des Moines, Iowa, in April 2014. Kuhns decided to go to the Built Ford Tough Series event where she also signed up for the PBR’s Fan Club Passport and with her one entry she won the trip to the 2015 World Finals.

“I’d never been to any kind of an event like that, bull riding or rodeo,” Kuhns said. “I still live in the town that I was born and raised in about 40 miles one way from Des Moines. I enjoy traveling to Des Moines and this was an opportunity to see something completely different. Now that I’ve been to an event and have seen what it’s about, my husband and I do try to watch online at PBR.com every chance we get as well as read the newsletter when it comes. I can’t wait for October to get here.”

Signing up for PBR Passport allows fans to go behind the scenes with the PBR’s bull riders, get the latest PBR news, while also having the chance to receive prizes and benefits from PBR partners. Each time an individual becomes a member of the PBR Fan Club or signs up for various contests through the fan club, they are entered into a drawing for any of the three grand prizes.
