PBR Looks to Sell Out Sioux Falls for Second Year in a Row

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Last year, Sioux Falls experienced thrilling, high-flying rides and jaw-dropping wrecks when the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) came to the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center for the first time ever. Fans loved the excitement so much the show was sold out both nights. The PBR will look to sell out again when it bucks into Sioux Falls on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3, with its elite Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) for the First PREMIER Bank PREMIER Bankcard Invitational.

For two nights, fans will witness the intense matchups between man and beast, where 8 seconds can mean victory or defeat to each opponent. The cowboys of the PBR will leave you amazed as the bravest riders in the world risk it all against monstrous animal athletes that can weigh as much as 2,000 pounds – more than 10 times the riders’ weight. The bull riding action will begin at 6:50 p.m. CT on Saturday and at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday.

Tickets for the two-day event go on sale Monday, Dec. 7, and start at $15. Tickets can be purchased now at the KELOLAND box office, www.Ticketmaster.com, and at (800) 745-3000. For more information visit www.pbr.com.

New to the ticket options this year are the PBR Elite Seats which start at $350. PBR Elite Seat Holders can participate in a 60-minute, pre-event tour behind the scenes of the Built Ford Tough Series. After the tour, pose for a photo with the PBR World Championship trophy and then indulge in the PBR Elite Seats Hospitality Lounge, while rubbing elbows with the stars of the PBR. Following the event, PBR Elite Seat holders will be able to relish in the moment with dirt access, where you can get down on the dirt and get your complimentary 8 Seconds PBR game program, Elite Seat souvenir credential, lanyard and other memorabilia autographed by many of the Top 35 PBR bull riders.

Last season, 2004 PBR World Champion Mike Lee captured his first win of 2015, after he earned 100 round points with the win in Round 2. Lee will return to defend his title at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in 2016, alongside two-time and reigning World Champion, J.B. Mauney (2015, 2013), as well as North Dakota natives Nathan Schaper and Stetson Lawrence.

The First PREMIER Bank PREMIER Bankcard Invitational is the 12th event on the 2016 PBR Built Ford Tough Series schedule. The season kicks off Jan. 9-10 in Rosemont, Illinois, and will conclude at the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas on Nov. 2-6, taking place at the new Las Vegas Arena. After five days of competition, the 2016 PBR World Champion, the bull rider who earns the most PBR world standings points during the 2016 season, will be crowned and receive the coveted $10,000 World Championship belt buckle and a $1 million bonus.
