PBR to Bring the World’s Best Back to Little Rock

The PBR will bring the world’s toughest bull riders and rankest bulls for the fourth consecutive year to North Little Rock, Arkansas, when the PBR Unleash The Beast (UTB) stops at Verizon Arena, Friday and Saturday, March 1-2.

For two nights, the PBR’s Top 35 bull riding superstars will take on the fiercest bovine athletes in the business, hanging tough to make the 8-second whistle in hopes of winning a share of the $120,000 total purse and valuable PBR world standings points.

All 35 cowboys will ride in Rounds 1 and 2 on Friday and Saturday. After Round 2 on Saturday, the two-day scores will be added together and the 15 men with the highest cumulative scores will immediately return for the Championship Round. The event winner will be the rider who has performed the best and earned the most world standings points throughout the weekend.

Arkansas native Chase Outlaw (Hamburg) will be looking to compete for the first time in front of a home crowd since 2017. Outlaw will lead a group of cowboys including 2018 PBR World Champion Kaique Pacheco. Other world champions scheduled to compete are Jess Lockwood (2017), Cooper Davis (2016), J.B. Mauney (2013, 2015) and Silvano Alves (2011, 2012, 2014).

Winners in Arkansas have been: Dusty LaBeth (2002), Wiley Petersen (2003), Adriano Moraes, (Springdale, 2004), Ryan Dirteater (2016), Derek Kolbaba (2017), Luciano De Castro (2018).

The bull riding action starts at 7:45 p.m. on Friday and 6:45 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets for the two-day event start at $13 and are on sale now. Tickets are available at the Verizon Arena Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com, or via phone at 800-732-1727.

PBR Elite Seats are for the avid bull riding fans who want a true VIP, behind-the-scenes look at the world’s premier bull riding circuit. These tickets offer premium seats and the VIP experience of a lifetime, including early entry; a catered reception; 60-minute backstage tour by a PBR Host, featuring a PBR 101 presentation and a visit with the sport’s fiercest bulls; and the opportunity for photos and autographs from top PBR stars.

The PBR’s stop in Little Rock will be the 9th stop on the 2019 UTB schedule. The season will kick off in in New York City at Madison Square Garden and will conclude at the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas on Nov. 6-10, taking place at T-Mobile Arena. After five days of competition, the 2019 World Champion, the bull rider who earns the most PBR world standings points during the season, will be crowned and receive the coveted $10,000 World Championship belt buckle and a $1 million bonus.
