COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association has entered into a partnership with WEATHER GUARD®, an industry leader in truck and van equipment, to make the Illinois-based brand the official truck box of the PRCA.

As part of the sponsorship, the WEATHER GUARD® brand will be seen by rodeo fans through a variety of offline and online channels, including the “Save of the Night” feature that will run on CBS Sports Network and MAVTV through December 2014. WEATHER GUARD® will also sponsor the bullfighters during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas Dec. 4-13.

“We are very happy to welcome WEATHER GUARD® into our PRCA family of sponsors,” said PRCA Commissioner Karl Stressman. “Their products and their values are a perfect match for rodeo and the Western world.”

“The WEATHER GUARD® brand aligns very well with PRCA and their audience,” said Chris Filardi, Vice President of Marketing, WernerCo. “Loyalty, hard work, toughness and integrity are all character traits exemplified by WEATHER GUARD® products, customers and the professionals of the PRCA. WEATHER GUARD® protects your most important tools like the bullfighters protect the riders.”

Another exciting component of this program is WEATHER GUARD®’s sponsorship of four-time PRCA Bullfighter of the Year Dusty Tuckness. WEATHER GUARD® and Tuckness recently shot an entertaining TV commercial in Cody, Wyo., that will air during rodeo events on CBS Sports Network and MAVTV, as well as online.

To reward truck enthusiasts, WEATHER GUARD® is giving away a 2014 RAM SLT through a national sweepstakes giveaway. This package, valued at $50,000, includes a 2014 RAM with luxury upgrades and is up-fitted with the most popular WEATHER GUARD® boxes, including the WEATHER GUARD® Model 127 Saddle Box, two Model 174 Lo-Side Boxes and a Model 338 PACK RAT®. The sweepstakes is open to U.S. residents and will run through Nov. 14. No purchase is necessary, and the winner will be selected and notified by Nov. 28.
