Prime Time Seats Still Available For Legendary Stock Show Parade

FORT WORTH, TEXAS, Wednesday, January 11, 2017 – The world’s largest non-motorized, all-western parade will walk, trot and roll through downtown Fort Worth on Saturday, January 14 beginning at 11 a.m. Reserved seating is available in Sundance Square for $25 and the Fort Worth Convention Center on Ninth Street for $15. The parade is free to the public, but with each reserved seat purchased you will receive a one-day general admission ticket to the Stock Show (rodeo performances not included).

Reserved seats give attendees a comfortable environment, not only to enjoy the parade but a prime place to experience this time-honored Fort Worth tradition. As an added bonus, kids can enjoy free face painting and balloon artists at the Sundance Square location. The spectacular annual event features nearly 150 entries from across Texas as well as other states. Highlighting Fort Worth’s western culture, the Stock Show parade features not only cowgirls and cowboys astride their horses, but horse-drawn carriages and floats as well as marching bands from local Fort Worth schools including the Pride of TCU Horned Frog Marching Band.

The 2017 procession will navigate from the Tarrant County Courthouse, turn south on Main Street, proceed south through the middle of Sundance Plaza to 9th Street, turn west on 9th Street to Houston Street, then flow north on Houston Street and will end back at the Tarrant County Courthouse.
