Professional Bull Riding Will be Back in Salinas on August 26th

Bulls of Summer to Fill Demand for More Bull Riding

Salinas, CA, July 18, 2017 – The California Rodeo Salinas and David Drew Productions will co-produce the Bulls of Summer on Saturday August 26, 2017. This Professional Bull Riders Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour event presented by Salinas Toyota is modeled after the July Professional Bull Riding (PBR) event held in conjunction with the California Rodeo Salinas. The July event, being held tomorrow, has sold out for the past 2 years and is tracking to sell out again. Gates will open at 5pm and bull riding action will start at 7pm. Tickets are $10 for children ages 2-12, $28 for adults in upper grandstand seats, $38 for adults in lower grandstand seats and $55 for box seats for all ages. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, July 19th at 10am at the Salinas Sports Complex Box Office at 1034 N. Main Street or online at http://www.carodeo.com/events/2017/bulls-of-summer-pbr.

After the action ends in the arena, fans don’t have to go straight home. There will be two bars open late for the night owls who enjoy music and dancing, one at the North end and one at the South end of the grandstand. Each will feature live music, one with a banda and one with a band. Details about the musical groups will be announced at a later date. A $20 cover charge for those over 21 will provide access into either bar.
