Public Service Announcement – Be Part of the 2017 Calgary Stampede Parade

CALGARY, ALBERTA – Time to start thinking about the Calgary Stampede Parade! Applications for the 2017 Calgary Stampede Parade are now open and must be received before February 27, 2017 at 4 p.m. (MT). To apply, please visit parade.calgarystampede.com. All marching band entries must apply through the Visiting Bands website at csmarchingbands.calgarystampede.com/csband.

This year, the Parade Committee is hosting a Calgary Stampede Parade Workshop that will showcase everything people, social clubs, organizations, charities, and companies need to know about putting together a successful application, as well as how to design and build visually-appealing and innovative entries. Local float builders will be onsite for participants interested in submitting a float entry for consideration. The free Workshop will be held on September 30, 2016 from 5– 9 p.m. (MT) at the Legends and Tenderfoot Rooms in the Trailblazer Centre located on Stampede Park (2402-2A Street S.E.). The Calgary Stampede Parade is organized by a team of passionate volunteers who make up the Parade Committee. The Calgary Stampede is July 7-16, 2017. The Calgary Stampede Parade begins at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017.
