Saturday Kicked Off First of 2 Daytime California Rodeo Performances
SALINAS, CA, July 21, 2018 – The Saturday matinee performance of the California Rodeo Salinas drew 11,578 people to the Salinas Sports Complex.
The Special Buckaroos Rodeo presented by Tanimura & Antle kicked off the day just before Veteran James “Guido” Davis parachuted into the arena with an 840 square foot American flag.

The action was streamed live on the Wrangler Network, www.WranglerNetwork.com, and will be again tomorrow at 1pm. Tomorrow is the Pendleton Whisky Day of Champions and Man Up Crusade Day at the California Rodeo Salinas.
