The Global Cup competition continues Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11 when all five participating nations going head-to-head for Global Cup glory.

“Competing in your home country will be awesome,” said Team Canada rider Brock Radford. “It’ll be an experience, that’s for sure. (Rogers Place) is a very nice building where you feel like a gladiator down on arena level. It’s one of the biggest buildings I’ve been in, and it’ll be outstanding to see a bunch of cheering fans in all of the seats.”

Highlighting an adrenaline-packed lineup of man vs. beast action, award-winning country artist Jake Owen will also take the stage on Saturday, November 11 in a bonus performance included in that evening’s PBR Global Cup showdown. Jake Owen has celebrated six No. 1 singles to date including the two-time platinum anthem “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.”

“Rogers Place has proven to be the hub of excitement and action in our city over the last year with events that included nine sold-out shows by Garth Brooks and the recent sold-out UFC 215,” said Oilers Entertainment Group Vice Chair & CEO Bob Nicholson. “To be the first venue in the world to host the prestigious PBR Global Cup featuring the world’s best bull riders is an honor and responsibility we don’t take lightly. Fans will be treated to three days like they’ve never experienced in the heart of downtown Edmonton.”
