WHAT: The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo is in full-swing with a bevy of activities and events to suit any preference. Fast-paced and exciting, the Fort Worth Super Shootout® on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. is the Stock Show’s newest twist to high-powered rodeo action. Friday begins the World’s Original Indoor Rodeo featuring nearly 1,200 professional athletes. Tickets are going fast so now’s the time to secure seats.
Four full acres of shopping gives everyone a chance to get their western on. The Junior (youth) beef heifer show gets going on Saturday. Sheep as well as donkeys and mules are also being exhibited this week. Mustang Magic, the highly popular equestrian event, runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The hottest local and regional music acts in the Coors Light Roadhouse.
Get the best deal on weekend parking – half price – by taking the Rodeo Redline. For $5 you can park in the north parking lot of Billy Bob’s Texas and be chauffeured directly to the front gate of the Stock Show grounds. Rodeo Redline will run from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. Buses depart every 20 minutes.
