PUEBLO, Colo. — Tom Teague has been one of the biggest and most influential names in the bucking bull industry for the last two decades. From his passion for the sport itself, to his support of the PBR and then his transition to becoming one of the top stock contractors (with four World Champion bucking bulls), no one has left their mark on the industry quite like Teague.
Teague always gives any endeavor his all, and with his business demanding more and more of his time he decided it was time to disperse his herd. Teague remains deeply involved with the PBR, ABBI and the industry – he just came to the realization that he no longer had the time to also be a stock contractor.
The first sale, to start dispersal of his herd, was a phenomenal success grossing more than $750,000. The next Teague Bucking Bull sale will be held Sept. 9 in Fort Worth, Texas. This will be the first of his sales to focus on his females.
“I am very grateful for all the support of this sale and it just shows that the future for the ABBI and the PBR has never been better,” said Teague of the strength of the bucking bull market.
Also held in Fort Worth, his first sale consisted of 50 lots which averaged $15,062 each. The high-selling lot for $110,000 was TBB 2660, a full brother to I’m A Gangster.
The Female Sale should also see some record-setting prices as others in the industry take advantage of the top-notch genetics Teague has assembled over the years. These sales are a great opportunity for all stock contractors to add value and depth to their bloodlines. Visit BarFProductions.com to learn more about the sale and the animals available.
