Top Cutting Horses in North America Set to Compete at Stampede Park

Calgary – Experience the excitement of one of the fastest growing equine sports at the Calgary Stampede Cutting Horse Futurity, presented by Wrangler. Admission to the Agrium Western Event Centre is free of charge, as the best cutting horses in North America compete for nearly four hundred thousand dollars in prize money, October 11-15, 2017.

Born on the open range out of the need to separate or ‘cut’ cattle from the herd, this high-energy sport showcases the incredible athleticism and natural instincts of the horse. The highlight of this fun, family friendly competition is the Saturday night Cut of the West. The top horses and riders will team up to wow the crowd and judges, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
