Goodwell, Okla. — The annual Top Hand Auction hosted by the Panhandle State Rodeo Team is just around the corner. The auction is Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. and will take place at the Pickle Creek Event Center in Guymon, Okla. Pickle Creek is located at NE 6th Street. Admission to this event is free along with the dinner courtesy of Hunny’s BBQ.

There will be pairs of Panhandle State Rodeo athletes auctioned off for four hours of labor. So if you have some things that need done around the house, farm, or at your office don’t hesitate to join us on Feb. 13.

Along with the pairs there will be several western items auctioned. The rodeo team is still working hard to gather items for the auction. Some of last years best selling items were an original painting painted by OPSU alumni Chance Hays, two Priefert chutes, and a private roping lesson with JD Yates.

Immediately following the dinner and auction, entertainment will be provided by Ken Stonecipher and The Wooden Nickel Band! Come eat, shop, and dance the evening away.

If you don’t have any plans for Saturday night, Feb. 13, please join the rodeo team for the night! The OPSU Rodeo Team would not be as successful as it is if not for the support from the residents of Texas County and the surrounding areas and the team would like to thank you in advance for your support!
